Writer to Writer
Do you have you a story inside that needs to see the light of day? Have you thought about writing but didn't know how to get started? Get some pointers on organizing your thoughts with a mind map and then practice writing an opening sentence that will grab your reader and make them want to read more! Finally, hear about the statewide writing challenge for adult learners called Writer to Writer and find out how you can participate. This purpose of this workshop is not to tell you how to win, but to give you pointers/suggestions so you have a better chance of winning.
This program was recorded at the 7th Annual Adult Learner Conference, sponsored by the Inland Library System Literacy Services Committee, in collaboration with the California State Library and the Southern California Library Literacy Network (SCLLN).
